Bocconi University has appointed its new board of directors for the four-year term running from November 2026 through October 2030. Andrea Sironi has been confirmed as president for a second mandate by the Bocconi Foundation.
At its first meeting, the board appointed Francesca Coloni as managing director and Alberto Grando as vice president. Coloni graduated from Bocconi in 1997 and has held positions at Reuters, Thomson Reuters, Refinitiv and Intercontinental Exchange. She joined Citigroup in 2021.
Sironi said the university’s 2026-2030 strategic plan would guide the board’s work, highlighting independence, academic freedom and openness to the world as essential conditions for carrying out its role.
