Czech industrial holding CE Industries is not considering taking part in the tender for the former Ilva facilities, a company spokesperson said, citing CEO Adam Šotek.

The Prague-based group operates in the railway, waste and raw-material recycling, and energy sectors. It gained access to the tender’s data room in August after expressing interest, but did not formally register as a bidder.

CE Industries had previously said it had not decided on the scope of any potential interest in the facilities.
