Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is selling 58 shares of DuPont at roughly $143 per share. After the transaction, the trust will hold 450 shares of DD, reducing the stock’s portfolio weighting to 1.65% from 1.85%. The sale partly offsets a Boeing purchase made earlier Monday.

DuPont shares have gained about 10% since the end of September as investors rotated away from companies heavily exposed to data-center construction. The stock is now within a few dollars of its August highs, although it remains approximately $12 below its 2026 peak. Shares are up about 18% this year.

DuPont was scheduled to report earnings before Tuesday’s market open. The trust said it was not making a call on the results, but noted that disruptions in the Middle East could affect the timing of several large clean-water technology projects, potentially creating volatility similar to that seen in the previous quarter.

The trust also said the company’s simplification story has largely played out, nearly one year after DuPont completed the separation of its electronics business, Qnity Electronics. DuPont shares have risen about 36% since the breakup, and the trust will now look to earnings for the next potential catalyst.

The sale is expected to produce a gain of roughly 48% on shares purchased in August 2023. The Charitable Trust remains long DuPont, Qnity Electronics and Boeing.
