Fratelli d’Italia is reportedly working on a possible amendment to the budget that would reopen the terms of a building amnesty, with a particular focus on Campania. Centre-right sources confirmed the possibility following reports by Repubblica.it.
The sources said the proposal relates to Campania’s exclusion from the 2003 amnesty, a decision made by then-regional governor Antonio Bassolino. Edmondo Cirielli, then an FdI candidate, pledged during his election campaign to address the issue.
