Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio has sent Delfin shareholders an offer to acquire their stakes in the company. The proposal was disclosed by Del Vecchio himself in a letter published by Qn, which he owns, and was described as the most serious offer he has ever made.
The chairman of Lmdv Capital said he had obtained the availability of a leading international credit institution to finance the operation. The proposal includes both the immediate purchase of all the shares and alternative arrangements spread over a longer period.
Del Vecchio also invited the shareholders to meet to discuss the project in detail, either collectively or individually, by November 7.
