Warren Investimentos has appointed Renato Cunha as its new CEO, replacing founder Tito Gusmão, who is leaving the position after nearly ten years to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Cunha has more than 15 years of experience in finance and investments. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, advising financial services businesses across Latin America. At Itaú Unibanco, he was a partner and director overseeing investments, including products, digital platforms and the development of new distribution channels. At XP, he served as director of strategy, product and operations and was a member of the executive committee.
The appointment comes as Warren has reorganized its strategic priorities and focused its operations on core businesses serving clients and partners. Cocos Capital announced its acquisition of Warren in May, though the transaction remains subject to approval by Brazil’s Central Bank.
