Cassa di Risparmio di Orvieto reported net profit of €6.8 million for the nine months ended September 30, compared with €8.9 million in the same period of 2025. At the same time, the bank increased its support for the local economy, providing more than €169 million in financing to households and businesses.

Intermediation margin fell to €44.9 million from €47.3 million. The result included a €0.5 million contribution from net trading activity, while the bank said lower net gains from the sale of securities measured at fair value affected profitability. Those gains amounted to €1.5 million, amid a different market environment marked by high volatility and continuing geopolitical tensions.

The securities portfolio totaled €250.5 million, broadly unchanged from December 2025. It was made up mainly of Italian government bonds.

Loans increased by 1.1% to €1.3699 billion. Within this figure, mortgages rose 5.1% to €983.1 million, compared with €934.9 million at December 31, 2025.

Regarding asset quality, the bank said it remained among the strongest performers. Its gross non-performing loan ratio was 2%, up from 1.71% at the end of 2025, while the net ratio was slightly above 1%.
