De Nora reported revenue of €628.1 million for the first nine months of 2026, down 0.5% year on year. The electrochemical group, which specialises in electrolysers for green hydrogen production, said revenue would have increased 2.89% at constant exchange rates. Currency movements between the euro and the dollar and yen had a negative impact of €20.6 million.
Gross operating profit fell 1% to €123.2 million, while operating profit edged down 0.1% to €97.7 million. Net profit declined 11.4% to €53.5 million. De Nora said the figure includes non-recurring income and expenses; excluding those items and the effects of investments accounted for using the equity method, net profit would have risen 12.6% to €69.4 million.
Chief Executive Paolo Dellachà said 2026 continued to bring a particularly complex macroeconomic and geopolitical environment. He cited different trends across regions and inflationary pressures affecting markets, supporting some businesses while adding pressure to operating costs.
Dellachà said the group’s business model remained solid, supported by geographic and end-market diversification, the strategic nature of its solutions and its teams’ expertise. He added that these strengths, alongside the group’s leadership positions, helped it address market challenges and maintain good profitability.
