Intesa Sanpaolo and Confindustria will meet with Italian businesses in Rome to discuss long-term strategies for increasing the global value of Italian-made products and strengthening companies’ international reach. The event, organised with Sace, Simest and ICE, is scheduled for tomorrow at Parco dei Principi.

The discussion will focus on ways to reduce uncertainty and risk, develop partnerships, and use public-private collaboration to support companies’ expansion abroad. Participants will also consider how international markets can contribute to growth among Italian small and medium-sized enterprises, amid changes affecting society, the economy and industry.

Those expected to attend include Confindustria President Emanuele Orsini; Gregorio De Felice, chief economist at Intesa Sanpaolo; Anna Roscio, executive director of sales and marketing for businesses at the bank’s Banca dei Territori division; and Confindustria Vice President for Export and Investment Attraction Barbara Cimmino.

The discussion will also include Simest CEO and Managing Director Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, Sace CEO Michele Pignotti, Ice President Matteo Zoppas, and Stefano Barrese, head of Intesa Sanpaolo’s Banca dei Territori division.
