Priscilla Carbone has joined Abe Advogados as a partner in its labor law practice after spending more than 11 years at Madrona Advogados, where she was also a partner. She has over 20 years of experience in labor law in Brazil and internationally.
Abe said Carbone will reinforce its work in litigation, legal advice, union negotiations and corporate transactions. Her experience includes complex disputes, labor and social security compliance audits, and collective bargaining.
She has also advised on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence involving labor, social security and ESG matters. After transactions, she has helped align job and salary structures, benefits and union arrangements. In addition to her law firm work, she participates in executive committees and boards of directors at public and privately held companies, reviewing labor liabilities and contingencies.
Carbone said she joined Abe to expand her work alongside labor law partner Fernanda Garcez, combining their experience and perspectives to offer clients labor law services that are preventive and connected to business strategy. Garcez said Carbone would add to the firm’s existing practice.
Carbone holds a postgraduate degree in labor law from FGV and is a specialist in civil procedure from FMU. She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association’s Labor Law Committee and the Association of Labor Relations and Union Studies of São Paulo (Apres).
